Ceratopsian Head Sculpt Process/ Stretch Goal Previews
over 4 years ago – Fri, Sep 27, 2019 at 09:14:47 AM

As we continue to toward that main campaign goal, I wanted to share some sculpt photos with you all for some stretch goal figure prototypes that are all currently in the works.

These heads were sculpted in traditional medium (CX5) by  Simon Panek on top of skulls digitally sculpted by Raul Ramos. After I work with Raul on the output size, the skull file would be sent to Simon for him to print and then sculpt on top of, assuring that the size and proportions were all in-sync.  I would then receive the skulls from Simon and add the jaw and neck articulation.

Diabloceratops

Regaliceratops

Spiclypeus

Kosmoceratops

You can find more of Simon's work here at Lone Trike Studio : Deviant Art and Etsy

And for more of Raul's work: Art Station and https://www.raulramosart.com/

That's all for now- until next time!

Since posting new updates of the stretch goal figures with 'in-hand' sizing photos and comparison shots with my newly acquired Jurassic World toys, several people have requested that I give the main four Ceratopsian figures the same treatment. So here are some brand new pics to help give more perspective on how these figures measure up!

Zuniceratops

Monoclonius

Triceratops (sub-adult)

Styracosaurus

We're now at 75%- looking good!  Thanks everyone.
